Margaret is a mastering engineer at Chicago Mastering Service. She holds a B.Music in Music Industry from Syracuse University, and a M.Music Technology from New York University. She has worked as a recording engineer at the Banff Centre for the Arts, the Aspen Music Festival, and on various classical/acoustic recording projects. She returned stateside in 2016 after five years in Norway as a Mastering Engineer at Sonovo Mastering and an archivist at the Norwegian Institute of Recorded Sound. In January 2017 she accepted her full-time position at Chicago Mastering Service, where she works with all genres of music and also cuts the lacquer masters used in vinyl record pressing.
