Gustavo Borner has been engineering and producing albums and soundtracks since 1987.
After high school in his native Argentina, Gus attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. He graduated with a double major in Music Production and Engineering and Film Scoring and then moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the studio.
Album projects include Andres Calamaro (2018), Juanes, Roberto Carlos, Carlos Vives, Marilyn Manson, Kinky, Placido Domingo, Phil Collins.
Winner of 11 Latin Grammys and 5 Grammys. 1 CAS Award and 1 Tec Award.
MTV unpluggeds: Autenticos Decadentes (2018), Molotov (2018), Ricky Martin, Juanes, Los Tigres del Norte, Julieta Venegas, Pepe Aguilar, Kinky, Bunbury, Zoe, and Miguel Bose’s.
Live projects include the New Orleans Jazz Fest, Newport JVC Jazz Fest and music shows like Blind Boys of Alabama Live from New York and Santana’s “Corazon LIVE” and Soda Stereo's/Cirque du Soleil upcoming show "Sep7imo Dia".
Film scores include Deadpool 2 (2018), First Man (2018), Birdman, Guardians of the Galaxy 1 and 2, Watchmen, 28 Weeks Later.
Video game work includes Destiny 1 and 2, Fallout and the upcoming Spiderman (2018).
He has been working on numerous projects for Walt Disney since 1996. Recent projects include Beauty and the Beast and the upcoming Mary Poppins.
Since the year 2000 Gustavo operates from his studio complex in Burbank, Igloo Music, where he runs 5 studios.
