Facilities

Standard A/V facilities for all 145th paper sessions, workshops, and tutorial seminar rooms will include:

• Video projector at 1920 x 1080 (16:9) resolution format, with an HDMI connector at the dais. Presenters should bring an adapter (to HDMI) for any output other than HDMI.
• Stereo audio PA system, presenters can plug in via stereo mini jack on the dais. XLR’s can be made available if noted to Facilities team before the event.
• 120-Volt, 60-Hz AC line power
• Laser Pointer

Not Provided:

• Computer - Presenters are responsible for providing their own computer. We encourage members of a panel to share files on one computer, if possible, to minimize video switching during the event. Presenters should have media files pre-loaded and ready for playing. We encourage everyone to have a backup of their presentation on an alternative format, such as FLASH, USB, or Cloud drive.
• High-Speed Wi-fi. Public Wi-fi is available to everyone in the Javits Center, but reliability is limited.
