Tiernan Cross is a composer, sound artist and researcher based in Sydney, Australia. Tiernan is currently completing postgraduate research through the Sydney Conservatorium of Music focusing on musique concréte, neurological conditioning, phenomenology and post-biological sound aesthetics. Tiernan’s works have been exhibited and performed in China, France, Belgium, Spain, Montreal, New York, Melbourne and Berlin. In 2018 Tiernan will be The Spatial Sound Institute’s Artist in Residence in Budapest, before exhibiting works at Shiro Oni Studio, in Gunma, Japan.
