Born in Switzerland, Jean-Luc Louradour obtained a degree in electro technical engineering from the ETS in 1973. Shortly afterwards, he moved to Montreal. Jean-Luc has been involved in the technical side of recording and mixing studios, starting at the famous Le Studio (David Bowie,Sting, Keith Richards, Celine Dion, etc.) in 1974, working mainly as a freelance maintenance technician, technical advisor, acoustician and in designing electronics. From the mid 70’s to the late 90’s, he was technical support for Studer and Neve for eastern Canada. He is one of the founding members of the Quebec chapter of SPARS and later president of ASPRAUDIO, an organization promoting higher standards and exchanges between professionals. Since 1987, he is president of Resonance TJL Inc, acoustical consultants specializing in recording and mixing facilities.
