Fred Willard is a broadcast junkie of the old school. Starting with FM radio, quad VTRs, and tube type "portable" cameras; he has seen all analog media march forward to all IT. Today his interests include multichannel sound and RF transmission facilities. After some years of travel around the country and world in the 1990's installing stations and facilities, he decided to settle as Chief Engineer for Univision Washington, DC. Fred has a BS from Towson University and is a life member and CPBE/8VSB/CBNT certified with the Society of Broadcast Engineers. His work is like a hobby as he's a member of IEEE Broadcast Technology Society, SMPTE, and AES.
