Markus Multrus

Primary Affiliation: Fraunhofer IIS - Nuernberg, Germany

Markus Multrus received his Diplom-Ingenieur degree in electrical engineering from the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg in 2004. Since then, he has been working on audio codec development at Fraunhofer IIS. His main research areas include waveform and parametric
audio/speech coding and bandwidth extension. Mr. Multrus was active in the technical development of MPEG xHE-AAC and 3GPP EVS, and also contributed to the standardization process in ISO MPEG and 3GPP SA4.
