Austin Moore is a senior lecturer and course leader in Popular Music Production at the University of Huddersfield. He is a member of the Music Technology Research group at the university and is currently completing a PhD that investigates non-linear processing in music production with a focus on dynamic range compression and the 1176 FET compressor.

Before his time at Huddersfield Austin produced and remixed electronic dance music (EDM) and studied Popular Music and Recording and Composition Studies at the University of Salford.
