Martin Dewhirst

Martin Dewhirst received an MMath degree from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology, Manchester, UK and a Ph.D. degree from the Institute of Sound Recording and the Centre for Vision, Speech and Signal Processing at the University of Surrey, Guildford, UK.
He is a lecturer at the Institute of Sound Recording, University of Surrey, where his teaching focuses on signal processing and sound synthesis. His current research interests include the relationship between audio quality and lower level perceptual attributes and modeling the perceived attributes of reproduced sound using objective measurements.
Dr. Dewhirst is an associate member of the Audio Engineering Society.
