Jon Francombe

Jon graduated from the University of Surrey in 2010 with a First Class Honours degree in Music and Sound Recording. He returned to Surrey in 2011 to study for a Ph.D. in perceptual audio quality evaluation as part of the Perceptually Optimized Sound Zones (POSZ) project (www.posz.org), focussing on attribute elicitation and the development of perceptual models. Jon is currently working as a research fellow on the EPSRC-funded S3A "Future Spatial Audio for an Immersive Listener Experience at Home" project.
