Paul has been an electrical engineer for more than 30 years, designing everything from radar receivers to consumer products to high-performance mastering DACs. After managing the product development/factory production/factory test cycle for dozens of products, he realized there had to be a better way to do production testing. That realization--and the ideas that followed--led him to start Avermetrics, a company producing Test and Measurement systems focused on factory production testing. This, in turn, has led to new ways of understanding and taming the beast that is production test.
