TT3 - Philharmonie Concert Hall
Abstract:
The Berlin Philharmonie with its pentagonal room size is one of the leading concert halls in the city of Berlin. Built in 1963 by Hans Scharoun the Philharmonie is the home of the famous Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. The smaller Kammermusiksaal (chamber music hall) was built in 1987. The new Digital Concert Hall is the virtual concert hall of the Berliner Philharmoniker on the internet. Music recording, video streaming, and broadcast by satellite is the focus of the guided tour.
