After finishing the bachelor studies at University Carlos III in Madrid, Frutos-Bonilla moved to Germany to enroll a Master degree at the Ilmenau University of technology on Media Technology. He wrote his Master thesis on Room Simulation at Fraunhofer IDMT and since then he is working in the acoustic department in the Professional Audio group.
