Since 1996, Mr Bamford has been a consultant and project manager at Engineering Harmonics in Toronto.

Mr Bamford graduated from the University of Waterloo with an M.Sc. in 1995. His thesis, “An Analysis of Ambisonic Systems of First and Second Order” was done with the Audio Research Group.

At Engineering Harmonics, Mr Bamford is a lead resource in acoustics and loudspeaker systems. He is the lead consultant on all Judicial Projects, having been involved in over twenty Courthouse projects. Other projects include work with the House of Commons (Ottawa), compliance on Pan Am Venues for the 2015 games in Toronto, the award winning Sosnoff Theater at the Richard B Fisher Center for Performing Arts at Bard College, Annandale-on-Hudson, NY, and the extensive loudspeaker system modeling for the sound systems renovation at the Rogers Centre in Toronto.

Mr Bamford is a member of the AES and the Canadian Acoustical Association. He is currently the Treasurer of the Toronto Section of the AES and is a former chair.
