25th Annual TEC Awards Announces Presenters, Sponsors For October 10 Gala At AES

Chris Stone will host the 25th Annual TEC Awards

New York, NY - The 25th Annual Technical Excellence & Creativity Awards has announced the presenters, sponsors and schedule of the show, to be held on Saturday, October 10 at the Audio Engineering Society Convention in New York. The festivities will begin at 5:00 p.m. with a cocktail reception outside the South Concourse Special Events Room followed by the awards ceremony at 6:00. The Ceremony will be hosted by industry veteran and Record Plant founder, Chris Stone, who will preside over the presentation of awards in 25 categories of achievement in audio technology and production. Confirmed presenters include four members of the TEC Awards Hall of Fame: platinum producers George Massenburg, Phil Ramone and Eddie Kramer, and  remote recording engineer par excellence, David Hewitt. Joining them will be TEC Awards co-founder David Schwartz, world-class studio designer John Storyk, Mix magazine executive editor George Petersen, G.A.N.G. (Game Audio Network Guild) president Paul Lipson, SPARS executive director Paul Christensen and Guitar Center Professional's Rick Plushner. GC Pro is Sponsor of the Technical Awards categories.
