AES Vienna 2007 - Student Paper Award

AES Convention Student Technical Papers Award

Description: A special award recognizing the best preprint manuscript by a student author accepted for presentation at an AES Convention.

Intent: Student involvement in AES is an essential factor in the sustained growth of the Society. The Student Technical Papers Award is intended to

(a) enhance the level of student participation in the Convention,

(b) encourage university faculty to support student research and professional involvement with AES, and

(c) identify future technical leaders for special recognition.

Qualifications: Nominees for the Student Technical Papers Award are required to meet the following qualifications:

(a) The paper is accepted for presentation at an AES Convention.

(b) The paper may have multiple co-authors, but the first author (nominee) must have been a student when the work was conducted and the manuscript prepared.

(c) The student author's affiliation listed in the manuscript is an accredited educational institution.

(d) The student will deliver the lecture or poster presentation at the Convention.

(e) The student is a current student member of the AES.
