Which systems are in use? Which systems will come? TV and radio broadcasters are using distribution systems for transmitting 5.1 surround sound with different audio coding methods. The workshop will review the current state of the art of used systems and report from broadcasters' experience of starting up new services and give an overview of the receiver penetration in various countries. The panel will also discuss future directions. |
