Recording Competition—Stereo
The Student Recording Competition is a highlight at each convention. A distinguished panel of judges participates in critiquing finalists in each of the categories in an interactive presentation during the convention. Student members can submit stereo and surround recordings in the categories classical, jazz/folk, and pop/rock. Meritorious awards will be present4ed at the closing Student Delegate Assembly Meeting on Monday. Sponsors will include: AEA, AKG, Alesis, FutureSonic, Genelec, JBL, Millennia Music &Media Systems, Lavry Engineering, Schoeps.

10:15 am – 11:15 am Jazz/Folk
Judges: Steve Bellamy, Jamie Saft, Todd Whitelock
11:30 am - 12:30 pm Pop/Rock
Judges: Emily Lazar, Tony Maserati, Darcy Proper
