ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR 105TH AES CONVENTION

Hotel Reservations Added To Website

SAN FRANCISCO: Responding to the enthusiastic reception to online registration at previous conventions, the AES will provide this convenient option to attendees of the 105th Convention at San Francisco's Moscone Convention Center, September 26-29.

Attendees can register and pay by credit card online via the secure server at www.aes.org. As an additional service, local hotel information and room reservations are now available at the Website.

"Registering online proved to be particularly popular at last year's 103rd Convention in NYC," notes AES executive director Roger Furness. "30% of all attendees avoided lines by purchasing tickets via the AES Website, and we expect even more people to take advantage of this efficient alternative this time around."

Formed in 1948 by a group of concerned audio engineers, the AES counts over 12,000 members throughout U.S., Europe, Japan and the Far East, and serves as the pivotal force in the exchange and dissemination of technical information for the industry.
