Abstract: A computer program has been developed to extend the capabilities and applications of a digital mixing console. By allowing virtually all parameters and functions of the console to be accessed by an external computer, the console's functions have been developed beyond the original design specification. This makes possible a degree of customization for a mass-produced mixing console.
