Abstract: To attract star performers who may also wish to ski, hunt, fish, etc., some studios are planning to erect recording facilities in the mountains; others project Kodachrome slides of landscapes through large windows as if to bring the outdoors indoors. With TV records and cassettes just around the corner, cyclorama screens and video control rooms are also discussed. Likewise described are the shortcomings of apparently improved acoustic designs in studio plans.
