The AES recognizes and honors those who have made outstanding
contributions to the field of audio in engineering, technology,
service, and the arts through its Awards Program.
In 2019, Marina Bosi was presented with the
AES Silver Medal Award in recognition of outstanding achievements in the development and standardization of audio and video coding and of secure digital rights management.
