The AES recognizes and honors those who have made outstanding
contributions to the field of audio in engineering, technology,
service, and the arts through its Awards Program.
In 2016, Diana Deutsch was presented with the
AES Gold Medal Award in recognition of her lifelong contributions to the understanding of the human hearing mechanism and the science of psychoacoustics.
