The AES recognizes and honors those who have made outstanding
contributions to the field of audio in engineering, technology,
service, and the arts through its Awards Program.
In 2014, Gyorgy Fazekas was presented with the
AES Citation Award in recognition of his services to the Semantic Audio Analysis Technical Committee in organizing the 53rd AES International Conference, Semantic Audio.
