The AES recognizes and honors those who have made outstanding
contributions to the field of audio in engineering, technology,
service, and the arts through its Awards Program.
In 2014, Christian Dittmar was presented with the
AES Citation Award in recognition of his services to the Semantic Audio Analysis Technical Committee in helping to organize the AES 42nd and 53rd International Conferences on Semantic Audio.
