About

NASA: Research scientist specializing in psychoacoustics, human factors, multimodal systems, and communications engineering. Development of new audio technologies for advanced human-machine interfaces for aeronautic and space applications, virtual environment systems, and speech communications.

AUDIO FORENSIC CENTER: Consultant-expert witness in the areas of audio, video and media forensics, and patents. Testimony over 50 times in court or depositions, in U.S. Federal and State courts including the U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC), and courts in Canada and International arbitration panels (ICSID).

AES Awards

In 2002, Durand Begault was presented with the AES Fellowship Award for his contributions to our understanding of spatial hearing and its applications.
