Company Profile

CEDAR Audio develops a wide range of sound restoration and noise suppression systems for use in CD/DVD mastering, post-production, film, TV and radio broadcast, and forensic audio investigation. Many of the processes are available in a variety of forms including multichannel, multiprocess PC-based systems, as well as in 1U rackmount and desktop formats. The company writes processes for digital audio workstations including SADiE, Pyramix, and Pro Tools. CEDAR was established in 1988 by the British Library National Sound Archive and maintains close links with the Signal Processing Laboratory at Cambridge University.
