Rick Snoman is a producer, remixer, engineer and award winning author.
With nearly 30 years experience working in both private and commercial studios world-wide, he specialises in electronic dance music production. He has remixed for some of the biggest names in the industry including Britney Spears, Kylie Minogue and Justin Timberlake and has produced music under various monikers including Phiadra and Red 5. His most recent project Aeon Soul is climbing high in the Beatport charts with support from Don Diablo and remixes from Blood Groove & Kikis, Soty and Arma8.
His ghost productions for international DJ's have earned millions of views on youtube and his studio regularly engineers and masters music for a variety of electronic dance music labels including Sony BMG and Warner. His work has accredited him as an iTunes certified mastering engineer and an EMTAS certified tutor.
He has written articles and reviews for music magazines and held a regular column in Computer Music while his book, the Dance Music Manual, has won critical acclaim and accolade across the electronic music industry. Now in its fourth edition, it is recognised as the industry standard textbook, has been translated in 5 different languages and is required or recommend reading in many international educational institutions, leading him to be widely sought after by universities and colleges to speak about electronic music production.
He is also founder of Dance Music Production. Started in 2004, the online learning platform has become one of the leading educational resources for electronic music producers.
