Elvira Burdiel is the DSP developer at Sonnox, where she's been working for the last 7 years researching and implementing the algorithms behind their professional audio production plug-ins. Originally from Spain, her interest in signal processing started during her undergraduate studies in Telecommunication Engineering at Carlos III University of Madrid. After working as a programmer for a few years, her love for music took her to London to specialise in Music Signal Processing at Queen Mary University, and she's remained in the United Kingdom ever since.
