Daniel Cantor

I am an associate Professor at Berklee College of Music, and an ASCAP Award-winning songwriter/owner of Notable Productions in Watertown, MA.

Notable is one of the premier recording studios in the northeast and has been home to over 1000 albums and countless commercial productions clients as diverse as: Aerosmith, MTV, Great Big Story, NPR, Juan Luis Guerra, Terri Lynn Carrington, Talib Kweli, Allman Brothers, Thomas Mapfumo, Hotei, IBM, Microsoft, America Repertory Theatre, Al Gore, Motor City Museum and Staples. My audio educational work includes guest lectures and consulting for Harvard University, US.A.I.D, Boston University, Tufts University, and MIT. I received Berklee’s Fly Grant in 2016 for my work in bringing Global Hip-Hop from Iraq, Syria and Jamaica to the Boston campus to promote diversity and global understanding. In 2005, I helped establish and still produce the Trinity International Hip-Hop Festival, which is in its 15th season. As a technology expert I have consulted + beta tested for:
