The agenda was amended to move AES14-R from the annex to the agenda and agreed as amended. The report of the previous meeting, 2009-05-09, was accepted as written.

AES14-R, Review of AES14-1992 (r2003): AES standard for professional audio equipment - Application of connectors, part 1, XLR-type polarity and gender
Propose to reaffirm as soon as possible.
AES26-R, Review of AES26-2001 (r.2007): AES recommended practice for professional audio - Conservation of the polarity of audio signals

AES-X011: Fiber-Optic Audio Connections: Connectors and Cables Being Used and Considered for Audio

Secretariat will post revised PWD by 2010-02 for the working group to consider.
AES-X113: Universal female phone jack
Small editorial amendments required include an extra ring on the MIL plug. Secretariat will post revised PWD by 2010-02 for the working group to consider.
AES-X123: XL Connectors to Improve Electromagnetic Compatibility
Foreword and abstract for the circumferential contact standard to be written by chair by 2009-12 for the working group to consider, then final PWD by secretariat ASAP.
AES-X130: Data Connector in a XL Connector Shell
PWD from Secretariat expected by 2010-02 for the working group to consider.
AES-X183: Audio application of 25-way D-type connectors in balanced circuits
PCFC to be posted by secretariat by 2009-11 for the subcommittee to consider.
Liaisons:
A liaison with AES Standards working group SC-04-04 on Microphones is necessary with regard to project AES-X189, "Connector for surround microphones". [This can be handled informally for the time being.]
New Projects:
It is proposed to amend AES14, after reaffirmation, by adding an annex extending its coverage to miniature XL type connectors that are now available from multiple vendors. A Report showing that miniature XL type connectors are now available from multiple vendors is also proposed.
New Business:
There was no new business.
The next meeting will be scheduled in conjunction with the AES 128th Convention in London, UK, 2010-05.
