Development Projects
AES-X152: Signal levels and impedances of analog audio interfaces
Scope: To develop a standard for signal levels and circuit impedances of audio system components and for the specification of these quantities in product data sheets [balanced, unbalanced]
Intent: Standard
Target: 2012-10
Discussion: The CDV for the revised IEC 61938 is posted to the document site. J. Brown and Olson to revise, revise and post a draft for AES-X152. Proposed to use normative references from the draft IEC 61938 for the document that is currently on the website.
Liaisons:
J. Woodgate reported on the progress of CISPR 32 and 35.
New Projects:
Chair to create Project Initiation Request (PIR) for project to contribute to the maintenance of IEC 61938.
New business:
There was no new business.
The next meeting will be scheduled in conjunction with the AES 133rd Convention in San Francisco, CA, USA, 2012-10.
