The Audio Engineering Society welcomes all in the audio business to hear industry-legend Rupert Neve talk in London on Tuesday 13th March.
Regarded by many as the 'father of the mixing console', Rupert Neve has contributed significantly to analogue audio design for over 60 years. His name continues to be a byword for high quality music recording.
From running his home-built mobile recording studio cutting 78rpm discs in Plymouth, Rupert's enthusiasm for audio led him to establish the Neve companies in the early 1960s. Today, he is far from retired from the music business, lives in Texas, is a Grammy award winner and in 2005 founded Rupert Neve Designs. His products - old and new - are still sought after worldwide for their sonic clarity.
