Consumer Audio Networking in the Home

The availability of cheap computer networking equipment and broadband connections has led to the increasing popularity of audio networking in the home. This lecture will discuss some of the technical issues, including alternative network types, available servers, available playback units, internet radio, digital rights management schemes, and standards. Future trends and video will be briefly discussed. Some real time demonstrations will be included using Denon and BridgeCo equipment.
