Summary

The Institute for electro acoustics and contemporary composition presented its new multichannel instrument which is combining ambisonic and WFS. The Student Section event tried to reflect the background and the technical aspect of the instrument with a demonstration at the end. Winfried Ritsch, who is the austrian pioneer for Ambisonic from Graz University was our guest speaker and introduced the audience into the whole topic of spatial sound with a presentation of the history of spatial sound and his projects and theories.
