On of July 28th the Mexico Section offered a conference imparted by Angel González E and Salvador Tercero. "Acoustics and the Interaction with Microphones": An important topic that applies to most pro audio fields.
Understanding the precinct and acoustic conditions will get us halfway when we are trying to record in a studio or live performance or to begin a concert. The other half will be to understand and get to know how the microphones will interact with the surrounding acoustics. Learning to use and take advantage of the microphone characteristics so you can overcome the challenges the acoustics can bring us.
