Summary

On the 24th May, as part of the monthly conference program, Andrés Mayo spoke of vinyl records. The title of his presentation was "Producing Contemporary Music for an immortal format: Vinyl".
The conference was well attended and many questions aroused, after Andrés explained the musical production he is conducting; thinking from the very start how to suit the recording sessions to the needs of the vinyl medium and its limitations. Every stage was covered: music recording, mixdown, pre-mastering and finally how to prepare your session to be sent for disk mastering and pressing, in this particular case, to Nashville in the United States.
Many people are not aware of the requirements for disk mastering or the equipment involved with it, so Andrés explained it thoroughly.
33 assistants, 23 of which were members and one new membership enrolled.
We are grateful to ARTeria and Jose Enrique Fernández for lending us thier premises.
