Rob Nation and Joe Vaughan gave the London AES Student Section a very informative and inspired talk about multifaceted audio industry. Subjects included (but were certainly not limited to): their own personal struggles and triumphs that come with the creation/maintenance of a recording studio, a history of the building they currently occupy and how it was transformed into recording studios, what a student can expect entering the audio industry straight out of school, microphone recording techniques, an explanation of the gear found in the building, and the signal flow of their main studio.
