Dr. Chen discussed the design, application and testing of sound diffusing products. Eric Ray presented a portable diffusion / sound absorbing prototype unit for our evaluation. With a guitar amplifier, we compared the sound of a cinder block wall, broadband absorption, and diffusion. The results were stunning. We were amazed how easy it was to greatly improve the acoustics of the room using just a couple portable diffusion prototype panels.
