Summary

NESCom's AES Chapter welcomed for the second time Fraser Jones; President of Independent Audio, and Dennis Gaines; Sales Representative of Independent Audio. Jones and Gaines discussed CEDAR Cambridge's DNS module and its ability to help remove rumble, hiss, and suppress any other unwanted noise. CEDAR's DNS1000 is used greatly by TV, film, post studios, and has helped in audio forensics investigations. Students were stunned as we were told some audio careers are dedicated to decrypting audio for archival and investigative purposes. CEDAR's software is able to declick, decrackle, debuzz, declip, and phase correct just to name a few.

Thanks again to Fraser and Dennis.
