Wellington Gordon, NESCom, January 27, 2011
On January 27, 2011, Wellington Gordon held a seminar in the Gracie Theater on the Husson University Campus for NESCom's AES chapter. The subject matter was regarding the history of recording technology, and how it has changed over the years to become what it is today. Some topics included the use of cutting lathes on phonograph machines, and the first examples of sound working in sync with picture. Despite a relatively small turnout, the meeting was productive and informative.
