The 129th AES convention in San Francisco was an enjoyable time for many students from our section. About 30-35 students from American River College made it to San Francisco, 22 students volunteered to assist the convention program schedule. It was a first time for many of our members, so it was truly inspirational. Watching professional audio in action has helped those in attendance realize there is a place for them in the audio community. Our section hosted a table at the Education Fair where we had the chance to meet student audio majors from other colleges around the world. Josiah Zamora our section Treasured had the opportunity to run for North & Latin America Vice Chair at SDA-2. Great networking connections, student events and friendships emerged from the AES convention. American River Regional would like to thank all the AES convention organizeres for there efforts...it was an experience we will never forget!
