Other business or activities at the meeting: At the conclusion of the evening future events were announced. These events included the upcoming mixing seminar with Phil Tan and mastering seminar with Glenn Schick.

Meeting Location: The Art Institute Of Atlanta

Summary

This event was the kick-off for the 4th Annual 60 Hour Recording Challenge. Several weeks prior to the event students signed-up and formed groups of 4. Each group consisted of a producer, 1st and 2nd engineers, and an assistant engineer. During the event each producer came up and selected a packet with a random genre. At 8:00 PM students were dismissed and given exactly 60 Hours to compose, record, and mix a song specific to the genre's that were chosen. Some of the genres that were chosen this year included Bluegrass, Electronica, Power-Pop, Industrial, and 70's Disco.
