Czech Section thanks to resigning Secretary
The Czech AES Section met at the end of November for its annual meeting. The program comprised lectures and presentations on various topics, namely the report on visit to the Chinese audio manufacturer, the first part of the History of magnetic recording, Perspective of digital audio signal processing for modern distribution formats, Sound of musical instruments, Acoustics of New York concert halls and Information on new legal status of sound engineers'copyright.
The main point of the elections was the resignation of the long-term Secretary of the Section, Jiri Ocenasek. He has served the Czech AES Section for countless years and only personal reasons prevent him to continue his dedicated work. Therefore, all members of the Czech Section would like to present their thanks to the man, who sacrificed a lot of energy, time and patience for the well-being of the Section. Thank you, Jiri.
