John Storyk is a famous studio designer and architect. Hs has been working in studio design for over 30 years! he owns his own world wide company, that offers full service acoustics and audio/video design firm, specializing in critical listening and viewing environments of various types.
Mr. Storyk's company The Walters-Storyk Design group has been nominated for the TEC awards every year since 1990 and is also a 6 time winner of mix magazines technical excellence + creativity award in acoustic studio/ facility design. We got an inside look first hand look on what his company does. We were lucky enough to see pictures and hear stories of all the great things he has helped build. He even talked to us about how and why he designed the Gracie theatre the way he did. He gave us first hand knowledge about acoustic treatment and shared with us where he though the studio and studio design business was headed.
