Meeting Location: Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences 1205 N. Fiesta Blvd Gilbert Az
Week one of classes for all students and lots of new faces joined the AES Monday night meeting. CRAS
AES Chair Peter G. opened the meeting with introductions and favorite concert attended. We then
explained what AES is to all new students and how to become a part of it. An AES officer meeting will be
held tomorrow (October 1st) to welcome any new officer prospects and discuss/plan upcoming meetings.
Sophie S. then jumped in and announced our upcoming events. These events include a two part mixing
clinic with AES instructor Alan Leggett (October 10th and 17th), a condenser mic build (November 7th
and 9th), and a vinyl clinic with AES instructor Gerald Schoenherr (October 3rd). Peter P. then did a
quick run down last weeks events: tearing down the video wall for Showboss and a Saturday session held
for all new students. The meeting then broke off into sub-groups to discuss updates pertaining to that
particular subject. The meeting ended with a Kahoot quiz over industry icons and candy prizes for the top
