Summary
The class of Applied Research in Digital Audio Arts put together a symposium to present their research from the last eight months of the class. The local AES chapter helped to organize and promote the event. The day was organized into various categories including, "Analog Gear and Mixing", "Digital Instruments", "Musical Genres", "Audio Spatialization", and "Video Games". The presentations were attended by music faculty members and industry professional Dr. Adam Patrick Bell from the University of Calgary, as well as classmates, friends, and family of the presenters. The faculty members and industry guests were impressed with the level of professionalism in the students' research and presentations.
