Berklee Valencia AES held a Q&A Skype session with multiplatinum producer/engineer Sylvia Massy (Tool, Tom Petty, Red Hot Chili Peppers, System of a Down, Johnny Cash) on Friday April 12th at 7pm in our A69 classroom. Besides her role as one of the leading female producers in the music industry, Sylvia is also the author and illustrator of "Recording Unhinged," a book about creative and unconventional music recording techniques. We discussed some of her recording techniques, interesting projects, and practical advice for young engineers.
