March has been an absolutely frenetic month as the Webster AES officers worked hard to successfully pull off yet another excellent Audio Summit, featuring panels on the physics of microphones, fun applications of tape machines in a modern studio, and multichannel audio playback. This was our first year holding the summit in our newly renovated communications building and we pulled in a record number of presenters. Congratulations to KCKCC student Anthony Kasper for taking first prize in our annual mix competition!
In other news, the AES has been working closely with Webster's music school to facilitate a number of their recitals, most notably being the songwriters' showcase, and we will soon be working to record the school's acapella group.
