Another in the ongoing Legends series, this time featuring Mercury Studios. Founded in 1970 with Tom Sparkman as the chief engineer, Mercury recorded such artists as Roger Miller, Jerry Lee Lewis, Bobby Bare, and Tom T. Hall. Mercury Studios, on Hawkins Street, later became Sound Stage Studios and hosted such artists as Reba McEntire, John Schneider, Conway Twitty, Barbara Mandrell, and Jimmy Buffet.
